1966 Chevrolet VENOM Nova
If you are looking for the ultimate muscle car then here is where
you stop. This one of a kind 1966 Venom Nova is one of the nicest
Nova's on the street and is in a special group of all fiberglass
Novas. The production of these bodies is extremely limited and even
stopped for a short time before resuming again. This is one of the
more recent cars built so any issues with the molds had been worked
out and the process perfected prior to this car. The body is
extremely straight with 67 style front fenders and is coated in a
beautiful Sunburst Orange metallic paint. This is paired with
Blacked out Budnik wheels and a carbon fiber wrapped hood for a
extremely tough and cohesive look. It has 18x11 in rear and 17x8 in
front which are wrapped with nice Nitto tires. All of the chrome
has a great finish and custom carbon fiber trim was created for the
rear.
This car is more than just looks though. Powering this machine is a
2010 6.2L LS3 with a Magnuson TVS 2300 Supercharger. The car has no
problem spinning the tires and produces a ton of power putting out
around 710 horsepower on the dyno. The engine compartment has a
show ready finish with custom inner fenders and painted firewall.
The motor is done in a combination of Black and Chrome which accent
each other perfectly. Backing the motor is a 4L80E Comp-u-shift
electronic transmission with 3000 stall that moves through the
gears smoothly. There is no way of listing all of the top of the
line components that make up this drive train but other features
include the gear drive starter, Concept One serpentine 8 rib belt
assembly, Flaming River power steering, Ron Davis radiator, Dual
Spal fans, Stainless 15 gallon gas tank, Spintech ceramic coated 3
inch exhaust, stainless 15 gallon gas tank, Baer disc brakes and a
Painless wiring harness.
The interior is just as nice as the rest being done in a high
quality Beige ultra leather. The bucket seats are extremely
comfortable and sit to each side of the custom built center
console. The dash has a clean finish being nicely painted to match
the body and is topped with Autometer gauges. A push button
ignition system is in place as well as power door locks and power
windows. The chrome steering column is topped with a Budnik
steering wheel with a matching leather wrap. Other nice components
include the AC which blows cold and a custom AM/FM/CD stereo
system. The trunk has been fully upholstered just like the interior
and incorporates additional storage compartment and a spot for the
hidden battery.
Looking at this car closely you will see that there are zero weak
areas. The body lines and modifications were extremely well done to
the highest level of show quality. It has 3,339 miles since
completed and shows extremely well. It is the type of classic that
is drivable while still being able to pull into any national show
and compete.
You couldn't come close to replicating it $120,000.00!
