Up for sale is my 1964 C2 Corvette. The overall condition is very good, car is very dependable and it is a pleasure to drive. It starts right up, idles perfectly, isn't too load for driving on the street and is a real head turner.
The engine is a 4 Bolt main 383 with a 6-71 blower it was built by Vette Doctors several years ago for a previous owner. I do not know the specifics but Carmen told me as he recalled it had an aftermarket forged rotating assembly, ported aluminum heads and was built to make about 600HP at the crank. The engine has less then 3k miles on it since the car was put together and registered. Car has a Winters performance quick change rear end with GM disc brakes, power rack and pinion steering, QA1 coil over shocks in front and a nicely done four link rear suspension.
Over last winter I had the car freshened up a bit, in the interior I had a the dash rechromed, silk screened and all new autometer gauges installed, car was rewired professionally from the dashboard back and most everything in the engine bay was replaced and or cleaned up, m ost of the plumbing was converted to braided stainless steel lines with AN fittings, there are a few things that are still rubber but not much.
The car is ready to drive and take to shows, I have never raced it and the previous owner trailered it to a few shows but never really drove it much. The body has a small stress cracks in the typical places and the paint looks very good from ten feet but isn't perfect; its very very presentable though. The interior is in good shape door panels and seats were painted blue by previous owner (why I don't know...) but both are in good condition. The dashboard has been completely replaced with all brand new or professionally restored parts and looks amazing. The carpet is black and is in very nice condition. In all honesty all this car needs is replacement seat covers and door panels and the interior will be mint. It has an upgraded OEM Look radio with custom speakers in rear and in kick plates. It has a factory small block hood that is color matched and cut to fit blower, whomever cut it did a very nice the edge is filled and it fits perfectly.
