1966 Cadillac Fleetwood
Take a look at this beautiful 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood brought to you by CARuso Classic Cars. This car was purchased from the owner of Boston Body Works who did a body restoration and respray in 2006. The car is in mostly original (interior, drive train and trunk) condition. The paint is a three-stage Volvo color, identical as original claret red. The car has some minor paint chips and some light scratches, but overall the body is in excellent condition. All panels are straight with no rot or rust. All Chrome and bright work are above average with very few imperfections. The vinyl top is in excellent condition. However, it has some rust around the rear window. Mechanically, the car runs and drives great. The oil and filter are changed twice a season, even with limited driving. The car is in a heated garage during the winter. The car is not driven in the rain or in any type of inclement weather. It has a new water pump, anti-freeze and belts, new fuel lines and transmission service. A new battery was installed in April 2015. Current owner has all receipts and are available upon request. The car does need weather stripping around the windows and trunk.
This car also has tinted windows and comes with original spare tire, which has never been used, owner's manual and protect-o-plate, original 1966 repair manual and 1966 MA license plates found in trunk of car. It has chrome Cadillac spoke wheels in good condition, original steel wheels and hub caps. It also has tilt steering column. As an added bonus the Vanity Pates Caddy66 are transferable with the car.
This beautiful car also made a brief appearance in the move "What doesn't Kill you" starring Mark Ruffalo, Ethan Hawke and Amanda Peet. The owner has a copy of the DVD and the paperwork. The car has been loved and pampered since before and after the current owner obtained ownership in 2007. Passengers in the back seat also enjoy lighted, fold down walnut trays mounted in back of the front seats as well as fold down foot rests. All interior trim is real wood. The year 1966 was the last year Cadillac used walnut for trim. The panels are in good shape but could use some refinishing.
