For Sale: 1950 Ford Pickup in Arlington, Texas

Vehicle Description

1950 Ford F2 Custom Pickup

This Ford F-2 (1950 -ton series) is a Cadillac-example of traditional home-garage Rat Rod building. It was dependably constructed, strong running, stops-on-a-nickel, and travels anywhere. Like most true rat rods the truck was a project that evolved over many years. This allowed time for adding new components while insuring the already completed portions were done right. Above all this rat rod incorporates a level of creativity you just can't replicate. The Rat Rod scene is pretty popular right now and the builders that know what they are doing stand out above the rest. That is because not only do they build a solid car but they have an artistic idea backed by hotrodding style. Based on the cab of a 1950 Ford F2 pickup it is titled as a 50 Ford but given the custom grill/light set up takes on more of a 30s look. Everything is custom throughout and the truck incorporates pieces of history that put a smile on any hotrodders face. Most of us in the hobby have found a love for vintage signs/gas & oil collectables so if that is an interest of yours this truck is sure to grab your attention. Check out the following table to get an idea of some of the components used in the build:
