This very rare 1971 350SL European Roadster VIN#10704312001869 was produced in June 1971 in Germany. I have letter from Mercedes Benz documenting production accuracy. These were the first R107 body style Mercedes. I am the 2nd American owner. Car was inmported in the 1990's and brought up to American standards by a reputable auto dealership. I have owned this beauty since June 1999 and enjoyed many hours of bliss. In those 16 years, it has always been garaged. My circumstances have changed and now it is time for someone else to enjoy this vehicle. I have replaced the German leather covers in the front seats, (Third and fourth seat in the back have not been re-upholstered since they were in perfect shape.)added a new black soft-top, replaced the original radio with a cd player (original still in the trunk) and added a winch to remove the hardtop. Even comes with original roadside assistance metal kit box. Car has never been in any accidents and paint is in excellent shape for a vehicle this age. Car runs and drives like a dream and I have not seen another cabriolet for less than this price even in the European market.
