This is a 1963 customized Riviera with fenders from a 1965 model. It was customized in the late 70's after which it was garaged until last year, only being run occasionally. many things no longer work due to its idleness and not being stored in a heated facility.
It has a customized interior with silver vinyl and royal blue crush velvet bucket seats (swivel type from an el camino) and a love seat (royal blue crush velvet) from a T bird as the back seat. I originally had red LED gauges mounted in front of the dash instrumentation and then made a wood and plexiglass cover to go in front of them. It still looks great but none of the guages work now. Body, engine, and transmission are in good shape, except for the one place on the fender shown in the picture, and parking claw doesn't hold. Last fall the braking system got a rebuilt master cylinder, new lines and rebuilt wheel cylinders. however shortly after this the power booster failed, so that also needs to be replaced now. it leaked some power steering fluid over this winter so there may be a problem with the seals but it still seems to be functional.
This car has almost no rust as It had been stored in a barn when I bought it and it has never been driven in the winter since. I wish I didn't have to sell it but I can't afford to fix it up so it is time I found it a new home.
