1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Everyone who knows Corvettes have their favorite body style. Well if your a fan of the C3 this is a classic you need to check out. This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette combines a high quality restoration with some rare features making it among the nicest out there. This was the second year for the C3 Corvette and was early enough in this line of body styles to still have nice chrome work and a vintage look. Later down the road for the C3 a lot of the chrome/trim work gets eliminated so many find the earlier years more desirable. In addition to looking incredibly nice, the car is a factory 427 car which are highly sought after. The car underwent a full frame of restoration that was completed in March of 2014 so it still has that fresh just completed look. It comes with documentation about the build so you know it was done right. It originally came out of the factory as Red with a Black interior car. It was restored using reversed colors and really looks sharp. The Black paint is very well done and is perfectly accented with Red on the stingray hood and down the sides under the doors. It has a clean finish and you can tell it was done right. The original style chrome is in place and has a beautiful shine. All of glass is in great shape and has been topped with a slight tint. Nicely polished out Rally wheels sit under all four corners and are wrapped with new BF Goodrich tires. Under the hood is the original numbers matching 427ci/390hp motor that runs very well. Chrome valve covers sit to each side with a chrome circle air cleaner up top. It has the original style decals and that factory fresh look. The transmission is also the numbers matching 4 speed. The car runs very well and has a great sound which was upgraded with the 2.5 inch Flowmaster exhaust. The interior is complete in Red and the upholstery looks like new. It has the stock appearance except for the aftermarket AM/FM/CD player. Prior to the interior work being done all of the panels were fitted with Dynamat which is great for eliminating road noise/heat from the engine and just gives the car a really quiet solid feel when cruising around. The factory style steering wheel sits in front of the driver and tops off the tilt steering column. All of the turn signals, gauges, horn, fiberoptics, etc work properly and there are no electrical problems throughout. The car comes with the spare tire cover but a spare is no longer in place.
