1957
Chevy 150
2 Door Wagon
"1957 Chevrolets came in three models--but what they called
"models" in 1957 were what we would think of today as trim levels.
The "One Fifty" was the base version; it had a relatively
restrained chrome trim piece on the rear quarters. One step up from
that was the "Two Ten", which can be recognized by a chrome
"sweepspear" that begins at the headlights and arcs down to the
rear bumper, paired with a second chrome piece that branches off
the first just a little forward of the rear wheel well and follows
the upper line of the tailfin. The triangular area between the two
chrome strips could be painted a contrasting color."

For sale by owner is this very nice 150 Wagon that had extensive
cosmetic and mechanical restoration completed in mid 90's with some
recent upgrades. Please let all the pictures load, (there are over
120) to see the beautiful condition of this classic Chevy. We
don't know everything that has been done to it over the years, what
follows is what we do know. The car started life in California as a
standard 150 with a V-8 engine with the one piece bumpers. It was
repainted (base coat/clear coat) in Tropical Turquoise/India Ivory
and all the exterior chrome and trim have either been redone or
replaced. The original engine is long gone and has been replaced
with a 383 Stroker motor built by Apple racing. The transmission is
a 3 speed Turbo 400 automatic, it has a Ford rear end with
pos-traction and 4 wheel disc brakes. The interior was redone with
new seat covers, door panels, carpeting, headliner and dash with
Dakota digital gauges. The undercarriage is solid clean and dry.
Rounding out the package are some great looking Cragar custom
wheels.
