1966 Ford Mustang Fastback modified-The car is not an original GT and is "C" engine version of the Mustang. The car was built in San Jose CA and has been a CA car all of its life and still has its original black/yellow plates. I have owned the car since 1992. The restoration was completed in 2013. PAINT-The Tahoe Turquoise paint was done in 2001 and does have some very minor blemishes but does not require repainting the whole car. ENGINE- The engine is a Summit Racing - balanced and blue printed 302. The Carburetor is a 4 barrel Holley 650CFM, rebuilt in May 2019 and tuned in November 2019. SUSPENSION- The Fastback has SSBC 4-wheel powered disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder (1.1 bore). The braking performance is truly impressive. All of the suspension bushings, upper/lower control arms, and tie rods are in excellent condition. The tires BF Goodrich Radial T/A were purchased in May of 2011 and driven for less than 500 miles. The wheels are the original Style Steel wheels in 14" but are only correct for a 1965. INTERIOR; Headliner is new and in excellent condition. The interior chrome has all been polished and re-chromed. The upholstery is in great condition with 3 small tears. Every nut and bolt in the interior was refinished or made new. The carpet is new and in excellent condition. Dash area is detailed and in great condition. The glove box and instrument cluster is in wood finish. The radio is not connected but did work previously and there isn't any speakers installed. EXTERIOR- Glass is great condition and appears original. The car has LED tail lights and look incredibly brighter and still retain the stock look. The fog lights and all lighting inside and out work great. Recently the fuel sending unit was replaced and now the gas gauge is very accurate. The odometer reading is not true and is only what is currently displayed. The odometer does work but the true mileage exceeds the capability of the instrument. This is great car that is very dependable. In the 28+ years that I have owned it, I have taken long trips and it has performed incredibly. I will truly miss this great car but unfortunately other interest forces me to sell one of my favorite cars. You will enjoy this car and everyone at the shows will always stop by to admire it.
