This 1942 Packard Henney is powered by a 327ci V-8 engine paired
with a five-speed automatic transmission and floor-mounted shifter.
Originally built as a military ambulance, this custom-built parade
show car retains its original 8-inch I-beams. The vehicle underwent
a bare-metal restoration and rebuild. Original military features
include the fold-down rear step and running boards. The exterior is
finished in Pearl White and the interior features a stained wood
floor and custom red parade seating. This vehicle retains its
original badge number under the hood and measures 24 feet in
length. A total of 804 Packard Henney military ambulances were
produced in 1942.
