This custom 1953 Ford F-100 pickup is powered by a 428ci Cobra Jet
V-8 engine topped with dual Holley four-barrel carburetors on a
high-rise intake, mated to a Ford C6 three-speed automatic
transmission. Tubular headers feed a dual-exhaust system. The
chassis is upgraded with a Fatman Fabrications Mustang II-style
independent front suspension, coilover shocks at all four corners,
a four-link rear suspension and a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear axle.
Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. Finished in
Chrysler Crossfire Classic Yellow Pearl, the body features shaved
emblems, deleted bumpers, a custom front pan with flush-mounted LED
front turn signals, a rolled rear pan with frenched 1946 Ford
taillights, hidden tailgate cables, a relocated fuel filler at the
left rear corner of the bed, a custom wood bed floor with polished
stainless-steel strips, a black hardtop finished in
automotive-grade paint, new tinted glass and Aries side steps. The
engine bay features color-matched inner fenders and a smoothly
tilting hood. The interior includes a custom bench seat upholstered
in tan leather with brown cloth inserts, matching brown carpeting
with tan piping, a light-tan headliner, sculpted door panels with
integrated armrests, storage pockets and power window switches, and
a tilt steering column with a leather-wrapped billet steering
wheel. Additional features include a Vintage Air climate-control
system, a Pioneer stereo deck with a custom sound system and a
custom billet instrument panel that houses Dakota Digital gauges
with blue illumination. It rides on custom 20-inch wheels wrapped
in Eagle tires.
