The 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Bicentennial Edition was a highly
collectible, limited-production convertible commemorating the U.S.
Bicentennial. Only 200 units were produced, all identically
equipped with a triple-white exterior/interior, a massive 500
cubic-inch (8.2L) V8 engine, and a commemorative dashboard
plaque.
Seller states this car has only 5,769 original miles since new and
it looks like it.
The Last American Convertible
When GM produced these final 200 vehicles in April 1976, it was
widely believed that convertibles were permanently ending due to
impending federal motor vehicle safety standards regarding rollover
protection. As a result, many collectors stashed these cars away as
investments, believing they were the absolute final soft-top cars
to roll off an American assembly line (though convertibles
ultimately returned in the 1980s)
Signature Features:
All 200 Bicentennial Editions rolled off the Detroit assembly line
equipped with an exclusive and identical design package:

Fleetwood Eldorado is one of the last 200 identical U.S. production
