Vehicle Description
The Impala by Chevrolet has been a long standing nameplate
throughout the years dating back all the way to 1958 and has
achieved many automotive awards including most recently in 2014
ranking of #1most affordable car in the US according to US News and
World reports. However, before affordability and safety was style
and back in the early 1960's style was all that people cared about
and the third generation Impala was the pinnacle of style. It was
restyled on GM's B-platform and was more trim and boxy than the
previous generations. Styles like the "Bubbleback" and in 1961 a
"Supersport" was offered. This would also be the last year for the
348. This particular stunning driver quality example is equipped
with the 348 Cubic Inch V8, mated to the powerglide transmission.
This car is equipped with power windows and a power convertible top
that works great and is also in good condition. This car starts
right up and goes down the road as it should. This Impala commands
all the looks and is a unmolested example with the exception of a
re-paint and mechanical restoration. The paint is good as is the
trim and brite work. Interior has been re-done and has all the
receipts to back it up. There are not many of these 61 Impalas that
are unmolested left. We welcome any questions and inspections.
