For Sale: 1984 Chevrolet C10 in Volo, Illinois

Vehicle Description

This is one of the best looking square body pickups! The quality blew me away too, so I had to buy it. It underwent a body off frame restoration! Upgraded pro touring suspension, LS1 engine, plus an overdrive automatic transmission. One word sums up this truck: exquisite!

EXTERIOR: Take a look at this paint; it is literally a black mirror! Absolutely laser straight, all the panels fit square and flush. Totally fantastic! Very desirable short bed. The brushed aluminum tailgate panel, emblems, bumper, trim, taillights, moldings, grille, hood ornament, door handles etcetera have all been replaced. The front and rear window were both replaced plus all the rubber seals and fuzzy strips too. It's been tastefully lowered and is sitting on custom made Billet Specialties aluminum wheels that are 22". They are wrapped in custom made low profile redline tires. What a cool setup, they absolutely make the truck!

INTERIOR: The door jambs are painted slick just like the body. Latches, weatherstrips, and sill plates all look like new. The tan interior looks amazing against the black exterior. The door panels were replaced and they also have switches for the power windows and power door locks. The gauges might look stock at first glance, but they are modern with digital readings too. Gauge bezel, vents, knobs have all been replaced. The climate control is now a modern unit with electronic slides. A digital stereo fits perfectly in the factory hole and there are 6x9 speakers behind the seat. A removable cup holder slides right in where the ashtray would be; so that's a very handy option. The dash pad looks like new as well as the carpet. The bench seat has been completely redone with fresh velour upholstery and cushioning too. It also has shoulder belts. Headliner, visors, and mirror all look like new also. Fresh deluxe wheel on a tilt column rounds off the interior nicely. Oh, I forgot to mention it has sound deadener under the carpeting. And even the dome light works.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Check out the all aluminum LS1 engine! Turnkey reliable performance! Clad in vintage looking Chevrolet script valve covers, she is a real looker. Extra clean presentation with a billet front runner serpentine system and a smooth firewall that had the bulky heater box replaced with modern parts. It is equipped with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes and cruise control as well. Nice custom air intake and Baer billet master cylinder too. A big aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps the power plant cool and happy. The underside of the hood is complete with insulation.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Pull down the tailgate and you will see nothing but spotless, pristine, and clean metal covered in glossy Tuxedo Black paint. It must have been hauling cotton balls and pillows!

UNDERSIDE: Body off frame restoration with an underside so clean you can eat off it! It's got a nice, lowered stance with a c-notched frame and a flip kit. Up front has CPP upper and lower tubular control arms plus lowering springs. All the steering and suspension components are brand new plus staggered shocks in the back. Custom dual exhaust system with Borla mufflers that sounds great. New fuel tank. Disc brakes at all 4 wheels that have big slotted and drilled rotors. Looking up at the motor it's in beautiful condition and was paired with a very practical 4L60E automatic overdrive electronic transmission. Everything under the truck looks new. Equipped with 3.73 gears out back and positraction. The frame and floors are all nicely painted and look fresh.

SERVICE: Our shop manager thoroughly inspected this truck and we repaired the reverse lights, attached a trim piece, and tightened the driver door hinge. It was extremely dialed in when we purchased it! Cruise with confidence!

I fell in love with this truck when I first saw it and needed to have it. The square body trucks are only increasing in popularity and value. A truly nostalgic and cool "up and comer" in the collector vehicle market. Put this one on the top of your list, this square body checks all the boxes!
