The C6 Corvette began its production in 2005. It was the first time
GM had used an exposed headlamp design since 1962. In fact, the C6
was virtually all new including new bodywork, an overhaul of
suspension, a larger passenger compartment, and a higher level of
refinement. Although the interior and wheelbase were larger, the
overall size of the C6 both width and length decreased, making it
much more agile and performance-oriented.In 2008 an all-new engine
was standard, it was the LS3 with a displacement of 6.2 Liters
putting out a staggering 435HP. In fact, with the automatic
transmission, the 0-60 times were 4.0 seconds.
