This 1986 Ford F-250 Supercab XLT Lariat is a really nice, very
clean, and mostly original Bullnose that spent its life in Idaho
until about 2 years ago. The body on this truck is clean and
straight. The paint is really nice and was repainted years ago in
it's original colors of Light Regatta Blue and Shadow Blue
Metallic. This is a really cool 2 Tone paint scheme! All of the
chrome and trim is original and still really nice. It has all of
the extra XLT trim which is very desirable. The underside is also
clean and solid and we found no rust issues with this F250.
The interior is also in really nice original condition. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working, The gauges all work. This truck has tilt wheel and working
cruise control. The horn and windshield wipers work. This truck
also has working heat and AC. The seats, carpet, door panels, dash
bezel, and headliner are all original and nice. This is just a nice
original interior.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great!
The engine is the original 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong and smooth
with no issues or red flags that we found. Work in the last couple
of years includes a new Edelbrock Carb, new radiator, new
water-pump, new alternator, new distributor, and new ignition box.
The transmission is the C6 automatic that shifts nice and it is
mated to the Borg Warner manual transfer case. The 4WD works like
it should. The rear axle is the Ford 10.25 with 3.55 gears and a
factory limited slip. The front axle is a Dana 44 TTB with 3.55
gears. This is all sitting on a nice set of aftermarket aluminum
wheels with Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires size 285/75/16.
