Excellent driving coupe! Show quality paint was done approx. 10
years ago in a 1966 Ford Mustang color, Sapphire blue. Paint job is
excellent and incredibly straight. White stripes are under the
clear. All emblems, bumpers, rubber trim, etc. were replaced.
Black vinyl interior appears to be pretty original with a couple of
tears in the seats. Custom Autosound stereo with power antenna. JL
Audio speakers and 10" subwoofer drivers. Tachometer and mechanical
water temp and oil pressure gauges added for more accuracy. Other
original gauges still work. Glass is good and all windows work
properly. Wipers work. Power 4 wheel disc brakes. Power steering.
15x7 Torq Thrust D rims with BF Goodrich tires.
Engine was rebuilt approx. 1,500 miles ago. It is a 1988-89 Mustang
5.0L 302 that has been bored .030 over with SVO aluminum heads. 600
cfm Holley double pumper carb with high perf air cleaner. The car
has a .498 lift 282 duration Ford Motorsports camshaft. Roller
lifters. Cloyes roller timing chain. Hedman headers. Aluminum
radiator with pusher fan. Battery relocated to the trunk. New
Optima battery. Excellent shifting 5 speed transmission. 8" 3:55
posi rear.
The paperwork goes back to 1969 when the second owner purchased the
car. The black plates were put on it in 1969. Clean California
title. Looks, runs, drives and sounds excellent!
