This 1957 Chevrolet El Morocco Brougham underwent a full rotisserie
frame restoration and is powered by a 283ci V8 engine paired with a
2-speed automatic transmission. It features a two-tone blue and
white exterior finish over a blue and Silver leather interior. This
El Morocco is equipped with power steering, AM radio and a
dashboard-mounted clock. It has a detailed undercarriage and
pristine engine compartment. This vehicle was one of the most
exclusive American cars of the 1950s, with bodywork evoking the
Cadillac Eldorado Brougham. This Chevrolet was a creation of Rueben
"Ruby" Allender, a Canadian businessman with a strong penchant for
Chevrolets and Cadillacs, but who wanted to build a lighter,
smaller vehicle with more elegance and prestige. This vehicle was
custom built by Allender and sold through Chevrolet Dealers, a
period blend of Cadillac styling on a Chevrolet platform. This El
