Vehicle Description
Check out what we believe to be a two-owner 1947 Fleetline! As the
story goes, the current owner reportedly bought this Fleetline from
a little old lady in 1965, whom was his neighbor at the time.
According to the story, she was the original owner of this
beautiful 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline. A title from 1965 was produced
at the time of consignment with the current owner's name and
information clearly printed on the front. A 75 year old automobile
with only two registered owners is an incredible story; and this
Fleetline looks the part. Powered by the ThriftMaster inline six
cylinder, displacing 235 cubic inches; and mated to a 3 speed(3 on
the tree) manual transmission. Driving this '47 Chevy is a true
pleasure and reminds us of the post-war era from which it was born.
The transmission shifts smoothly and the brakes provide a confident
deceleration. The dual exhaust provides a throaty and surprising
rumble from the inline six.
