sweet 1972 Oldsmobile Delta 88 convertible. If you're looking for
classic land yacht styling with a potent modern power train, look
no further, as the owner has given this bad boy a "lil sumpin
sumpin"! Not only was the drivetrain upgraded, but so was the
suspension and the interior, while leaving the exterior with a
little patina effect to keep onlookers guessing when you blow past
them. Its original 350 CID V8 was replaced by a 5.3L V8, which is
backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission, and both have just
under 600 miles on them. The idea behind this road warrior was to
create a classy ride that maintains its old school vibe but give it
modern amenities and bumped up performance vs. the way it rolled
off the assembly line. Broken Bolt Garage was tapped for the bulk
of the work on the mechanicals (including the powertrain), and they
have done a nice job. A custom fabricated cold air intake feeds
into the aluminum intake, and the aluminum heads, aftermarket cam
and pistons, along w/stainless shorty headers and dual exhaust all
add up to "this ain't no slouch". A giant aluminum radiator was
installed, and it's augmented with twin electric fans to aid in the
cooling. The front suspension was updated as well, and is now
outfitted with adjustable coilover shocks, so it handles much
better than you'd expect out of a vintage land yacht. Inside, the
interior was completely redone, and now features some classy red
synthetic leather seating and fresh carpet, so it looks crisp and
clean inside. A digital dash cluster was installed, along with a
Double DIN head unit for entertainment delivery. The head unit
features AM/FM/CD/XM/NAV, along with a backup camera, so you have
plenty of modern functionality in your sound system. Since this is
a Texas car, its owner added a new Vintage Air system to make it
year-round road trip friendly. Drivers will appreciate the thick
wood-rimmed steering wheel, which adds a nice touch to the driver's
connection with the big '88. Additional features and options on
