Dodge Wayfarer Business Coupe. The Wayfarer was built from
1949-1952. Produced as a two-door in three distinct models
consisting of a roadster, business coupe, and a two-door sedan.
Only one engine was available, a one-barrel L-head 230ci.
inline-six pumping out 103 horsepower attached to a three-speed
fluid drive manual transmission. The Dodge Wayfarer sold well as a
price leader in the post war market. This 1949 Dodge Wayfarer
Business Coupe is painted in French Gray with gleaming chrome and
factory white wheel covers with chrome hubs. The interior is
appointed in gray velour with only a front seat. Extra interior
features include an AM factory radio, optional turns signals, and
heater. Under the hood is a factory correct 230ci in-line six with
the three-speed fluid drive transmission.
