Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to present this
clean blue 1965 Ford Mustang. Based on the F-code VIN, this is a
"1964 1/2" Pony. This Blue Pony is part of the first generation
Ford produced from 1964 until 1969. Within the first production
year more than 417,000 Mustangs were sold, setting a new record for
a new model from Detroit; not to mention creating an entire class
of automobiles by itself. These cars had sporty long hoods, along
with short rear short decks, and became the progenitor of the "Pony
Car" market. The 1965 Mustang was the beginning of a market that
still is going strong today, with Camaros, Challengers, Cougars,
Barracudas and more joining the fray in the early years. This
good-looking 1965 Mustang is equipped with a 260 CID V8 (FCODE) and
a 3-speed automatic transmission. This Mustang has a nice blue
exterior that is free from any major dings or dents. The bumpers,
trim, emblems, grill, & glass are in good shape as well. Unlike in
1965, this sprightly Pony is equipped with radial tires, which have
plenty of life in them. Inside, the blue vinyl seats are
comfortable, and the blue carpet is in good condition. Additional
features on this sweet little ride include AM/FM Radio, Front
Seatbelts, Hubcaps, Power Steering, and Whitewall Radial Tires. If
you're looking for one of the earliest of Mustangs, give our
Houston showroom a call or shoot us an email, and we'll help you
make it yours!
