Vehicle Description
1956 Lincoln Premier
56WA45120L
Purchased in 1960 from a used-car dealer in Salt Lake City, Utah
for $1825, this Lincoln Premier has been a single family owned car
for the last 63 years!
The odometer reading is around 90,000 miles - although it is
difficult to tell since the numbers have started to peel. The
vehicle was recently appraised with the report as follows:
"The condition of the 56 Lincoln in this report, is amazing
considering the age of the car. The body is good with little or no
rust. The interior is good and original. The only thing missing is
the radio. A replacement radio could be found with little effort.
The engine, transmission and running gear are all original and in
working condition. As a project car for restoration, this car has
everything and would be an easy build. The car has some minor
issues that need to be addressed. Things that need work are the
power windows, the windshield, the left door needs adjustment, the
roof has a small crease, the power steering leaks, the air
conditioning needs work, the steering wheel needs to be replaced,
the radio is missing and the upholstery needs to be replaced. All
the above are very minor items. For this car, a frame off
restoration would be a relatively minor operation. Everything is
there. This is a dream come true for a car enthusiast."
This car has been consigned to the 8th Annual Salt Lake City
Classic Car Auction hosted by the Classic Car Auction Group. The
