luxury sedan that slots below the flagship CT6 and is available in
front- or all-wheel drive configurations. The refreshed 2014
Cadillac XTS got a revised front fascia, updated suspension tuning,
and a new version of Cadillac's CUE infotainment system. The
Sapphire blue metallic color harmoniously blends curves and angles
in a way that hides its girth well. It's as attractive inside as
out, especially with this year's upgrades. The profile hasn't
changed, but the details are new. A cleaner grille with more
horizontal chrome trim brings it in line with the automaker's
freshest offerings. Redesigned wheels and LED taillights round
things out. It's more than just a gentle nip-and-tuck, though, as
Cadillac says its front fenders don't carry over. Open the doors
and the tan interior is in great shape all around as well as the
black carpets look brand new. Standard features include a rearview
camera, keyless entry/start, remote start, Cadillac's CUE
infotainment system with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth
connectivity, four USB ports, a 5.7-inch multi-information display
an eight-speaker Bose premium audio system, dual-zone climate
control, leather upholstery, LED headlights, and 19-inch alloy
wheels. Options and features available include heated and
ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, navigation, a
heated steering wheel, and automatic parking assist. Trunk space is
a generous 18 cubic feet and can be expanded via the standard 60/40
split-folding rear seats. The 2014 Cadillac XTS Vsport is powered
by a twin turbo V6 that yields 410 horsepower. There's not much
turbo lag, and in the 5.3 seconds it takes the regular
all-wheel-drive XTS to reach 50 mph, the XTS Vsport is at 60 mph.
Passing power from 45-65 mph improves from 3.3 to 2.6 seconds. Ride
comfort is excellent thanks to the available Magnetic Ride Control
system. The 2014 Cadillac XTS v-sport is a big sedan, but its fuel
