Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1957 Nash
Metropolitan hard top. The Metropolitan was manufactured from
1954-62 as one of first to enter the sub-compact market. This
Metropolitan series III model was in production from 1955-58. The
redesign offered two-tone paint schemes, hounds tooth interiors,
and redesigned front grille. The B- Series engine size also
increased in capacity to 1,489cc. with the continuation of the
three-speed manual transmission. This 1957 Nash Metropolitan hard
top is painted in two-tone Mardi-Gras Red and Frost White. Added
features include the classic rear mounted rear tire, side wind
screens, stainless side trim, and matching Mardi-Gras Red steel
wheels with factory wheel covers. The hounds tooth black and white
interior has been updated. Electric wipers, factory radio, and
seatbelts are welcoming additions.
