Gateway Classic Cars is now featuring this 1986 Ford Mustang SVO in
the Milwaukee Showroom. Ever since the Debut of the Mustang in 1964
and the implementation of the 289 V8 the succeeding year, it
developed its name as being a V8 powered pony car through the
years. Along came the 80's and Ford came up with the SVO which set
itself apart from the usual crowd being powered by a 2.3 liter
inline 4 cylinder turbocharged which matched the 5.0 liter fuel
injected V8 at 200 horsepower. This was showing to be the dawn of
an era where a little 4 cylinder could be made with equivalent
levels of power to duke it out with engines twice their size. The 4
popper is bolted up to a 5-speed manual transmission which sets the
true exhilarating tone of what it means to drive a Mustang. The SVO
comes equipped with air conditioning, alloy wheels, AM/FM radio
with cassette, power brakes, power locks, power steering, power
windows, and tilt wheel. It's worth noting that only over 9800
SVO's were made out of the 500,000+ Mustangs made between the years
of 1984 to 1986. This is a rare car and the numbers do not lie on
that so passing on this car may not be the greatest idea if you
find yourself in the search for an SVO. This 1986 Ford Mustang SVO
is in Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at
www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD
video. To see the car in person, it can be seen in Milwaukee
Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144.
