Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to present this sporty
1976 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Under the low-slung hood is a 1.5l
4-cylinder engine spinning a 4-speed manual transmission and
sending power to the rear wheels. This Triumph recently had the
brakes overhauled including a new master cylinder, and new brake
calipers up front. The engine fires up with no fuss, and the engine
happily revs up, ready to sing the sweet sound of this buzzy bee.
The vehicle has seen one repaint, and the body is solid as a rock.
The interior is clean, and both the steering wheel and shift knob
feel great in the hands while cruising down the road or, more
enjoyably, pushing the triumph through the turns.
