Pontiac Fiero GT. A mid-engine sports car manufactured by General
Motors from 1983-1988. Unbelievably, it was the first mid-engine
automobile to be produced by an American manufacturer. The Fiero
was also the first two-seater to be built by Pontiac since 1926.
Technologies such as composite body panels and integrated speakers
mounted in the headrests set the Fiero apart from the
competition.This 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT is painted in Flame Red
accented with factory set of gold spider-spoke alloy wheels. The
custom hand-made black/red leather seats have the Fiero emblem
stitched into headrests. Custom Fiero floormats and dash pad are
nice show quality upgrades. Appearance upgrades include
"Snapperhead Performance" engine compartment show mirrors, side
mirror bra covers, full car cover, spare tire cover, trunk show
cover and "Mechcum Performance" fiberglass side scoops. Under the
hood of this beauty is a 2.8 V-6 upgraded with a "Hypertech Street
Runner" performance chip. Other upgrades include a Holley throttle
body,
[email protected] performance induction true cold intake, West coast Fiero
strut brace, and a MSD performance cap and rotor. All attached to a
Getrag five-speed manual transmission. Other interesting features
on this Fiero GT are high-heat red brake calipers, "Cat-Back"
exhaust, Koni performance shocks/ struts, urethane suspension
bushing, and a Billit dress up aluminum thermostat housing cover/
oil cap cover/ egr valve cover. This Fiero GT also comes with a
removable glass sunroof, air conditioning, power windows, power
locks, power mirrors, tilt steering wheel, rear defogger, and an
AM/FM/ cd radio.
