Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is happy to present this
cute little 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider, in light blue on black. These
cars were very popular back in the day, along with the MGB's,
Triumph Spitfire, TR6 & 7's. But it was the full roadsters like
these that stole the show. This Alfa Romeo looks particularly good
in the light blue with black top and interior, and the lines of the
Alfa are a nice departure from the MG's & Triumphs. A bit classier
if you will. Outwardly, this a nice driver. A great first car for
someone, or an easy restoration for the purist who wishes to make
it new. Either way, a great car to start with as it is solid and
runs and drives well. Under the hood, you'll find Alfa's spirited
2.0 liter double overhead cam 4 cylinder, still in it's original
form. It's tied to a 5-speed manual, making this little drop top a
blast to drive. It is roomier than you might expect, which this 6'4
author really appreciates! The interior is still in good shape, a
beneficiary of only 82,226 miles on the clock. Power brakes make it
easy to drive. It is a likeable, great looking little sports car
that won't break the bank. It sold new in Hawaii, and has been in
Florida since 1997. A clean Carfax offers confidence on the
indicated miles and history.
