Ford jumped on the "Retro" band wagon in 1997 with the reintroduced modern take of the Thunderbird. Ford purchased the Jaguar brand and was able to use a lot of the platforms and technology from Jaguar, thus introduced the Jaguar AJ-30 DOHC and mated to a 5R55N 5 speed transmission to power this new version Thunderbird. The modern Thunderbird has a nice dual exhaust that sounds really nice, however is still quiet enough for an everyday driver.This example of Thunderbird has a nice classic silver metallic paint with matching hardtop and a black soft top.Interior modern features come with power locks, powers seats, power windows, seat belts, Am/Fm in dash 6 disc cd changer and air conditioning make for a nice place to spend a summer afternoon.This is a car that has a nice retro style combined with the modern convinces and is worthy of the name Thunderbird.
