Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1965
Ford Thunderbird Convertible! Debuting all the way back in 1955,
the Thunderbird was Ford's immediate response to the newly marketed
mighty Corvette. It was rushed from idea to prototype in under a
year! The Thunderbird would become one of Ford's longest produced
cars. Spanning from 1955-1997, and 2002-2005, the Thunderbird would
see not just a few redesigns, but 11 generations in total! Here we
have a '65 model, the 2nd year of the fourth generation and a
convertible and a "Z" code car! The gold paint looks great, and the
white-soft top goes well with the color and is also in good shape.
She appears to have had a nice restoration. The black vinyl
interior is sharp, looks hardly sat in. Under the hood is a 390ci
V8 with power running down through a 3-speed automatic
transmission. The current owner has had her for over 21 years and
acquired her from a private owner. The odometer is inoperable. The
title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name
now. If you are after a big comfortable cruising convertible, look
no further, this Thunderbird is for you! Options on this T-bird
include: A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Vinyl
Interior, Automatic Convertible Top, Seat Belts, Hub Caps, and
White Wall Tires. This 1965 Ford Thunderbird Convertible is offered
