Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is proud to offer this
awesome 2013 Nissan GT-R Black Edition for sale. As every GT-R
aficionado knows, these cars are marvels of engineering and
performance. If you aren't a GT-R fiend, you'll find that there are
plenty of magazine articles out there reviewing the GT-R, and after
reading them all, you'll no doubt come away impressed by the
unanimous praise that every one of them espouses about this beast.
The 2013 GT-R's top trim level is the Black Edition, which adds
$10K to the base price, and includes black 20-inch forged RAYS
alloy wheels, specially trimmed Recaro bucket seats trimmed in red
and black leather, and a "dry" carbon fiber rear spoiler. This unit
is painted in Jet Black, one of the six available color options for
2013. The Jet Black has loads of subtle metallic particles in it,
so when the sun hits this bad boy just right, it really sparkles!
The feature list on the GT-R is substantial, so we'll run right
through what's on the Monroney for this one...It's powered by a
3.8L DOHC Twin Turbo V6 engine (VR38DETT) that's sending 545HP and
463 LB/FT Torque through the paddle-shifted dual clutch 6-speed
"manu-matic" transmission to all 4 corners at once. The suspension
is a fully independent rear transaxle arrangement, with independent
double wishbone front suspension and independent multi-link rear
suspension handling the chore of keeping all four of its Michelin
Pilot Sport 4S meats doing their utmost to maintain grip.
Fortunately, these Michelins are only about a year old, so they
have plenty of fun left in them. The power anti-lock brakes are
Nissan/Brembo Monoblock 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers,
which grab onto its full-floating cross-drilled ventilated rotors,
hauling this bad boy back to zero with little fuss, even from
extreme speeds and many iterations. The Bilstein Damptronic
electronically controlled shock absorbers keep the body movements
in check, and the Michelins glued to the pavement. The
transmission, suspension, and vehicle dynamic control modes are all
fully configurable by the driver. Plenty of airbags are hidden in
the passenger compartment, including dual stage supplemental front
airbags. Nissan's AABS handles the deployment logic for the SRS
system's many airbags. As most know, the GT-R is full of
technological electronic wizardry, with Traction Control, Vehicle
Dynamic Controls, TPMS, Electronic Brake force Distribution, and
more. Included in the "more" are the heated 8-way power driver seat
and 4-way power front passenger seat, leather-wrapped tilt and
telescopic steering wheel, Bose Audio System with USB connectivity
and XM Satellite Radio (with XM NavTraffic and NavWeather and
Nissan Hard Drive Nav System), Bluetooth hands-free phone system
and streaming audio, Driver-configurable Multi-Function Display,
Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, Nissan Intelligent Key
(with pushbutton ignition), and Homelink Universal Garage Door
Opener. The few remaining features include HID headlights, LED
running lights, Power Folding Heated Sideview Mirrors, Front Fender
vents with GT-R emblems, Integrated Flush-Mounted Door Handles, and
that Dry Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler. As one no doubt can tell from
the loaded features and options list, about the only thing missing
here is the ubiquitous "kitchen sink"; however, if you need that,
put it in the relatively spacious rear seat. This GT-R Black
Edition has only 26K one-owner miles on its odometer and given that
its owner has been fastidious about the care and maintenance of
this unit, one can be assured that it was broken in exactly as
Nissan's break-in instructions require; so, it's ready for its
second owner to enjoy it with no limitations imposed on its
operation. If you're looking for an unmolested one-owner GT-R, this
one should be at the top of your list. Give our Houston Showroom a
call or shoot us an email, and we'll help you get it headed to your
collection!
