street legal 1972 Volkswagen Sand Rail. If you are looking to rip
up the sand dunes and have fun doing it, this is the ultimate
off-road vehicle! This beast has been fully built with a lot of
after-market parts. With dual weber carburetors, an eagle racing
camshaft, a stroker kit with CB Performance big bore heads, this
engine is ready for whatever you throw at it because it has POWER!
It has tons of chrome and a nice header exhaust that sounds great.
This buggy has a full fiberglass body and a windshield with a
functioning wiper so you can still ride in the cold. It has a Megan
racing spoiler for aerodynamics (what little there is in a sand
rail). It has been upgraded with a long travel fox suspension for
those crazy jumps at the dunes. It has all terrain T/A K02 tires in
the rear and the size is 31x10.50R15, with weld super single
wheels. The front tires are mickey Thompson mini-mags and the size
of them are E78-15. The vehicle has 4 aftermarket headlights for
those night cruises, as well as another facing the rear for seeing
in reverse. It has a cloth top that appears to be in great shape.
This sand rail has racing bucket seats with harnesses, so you won't
fly out when you hit those dune jumps! The clutch feels strong, and
it has a 4-speed manual transmission with a B&M shifter, and it
even has a detachable steering wheel for easy access to the
driver's seat. If you are in the market for an offroad toy, these
things are an absolute blast and I highly recommend you don't look
past this one!
