The headlights were moved farther apart (converted to seal beam head lights for the fist time in 1940). The side grilles were removed for chrome strips on the deluxe models, and the first "alligator" hood that opened from the top replacing past side panels. Hydraulic brakes were installed for the first time on the new Ford Deluxe. This Ford Deluxe is painted Royal Blue with Flames and is complimented by a Black interior. Powered by 450ci V8 mated to a GM 350 automatic transmission. Options included on this car are four wheel disc brakes, leather interior, am/fm cd player and tilt steering wheel.
