Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1949
Willys Jeep Truck! Willys was founded all the way back in 1908.
Willys was well known for making reliable off-road vehicles for
civilian and military applications. After WWII ended Jeep was ready
to unveil a truck that would become iconic even today. The Willys
Overland Pickup debuted in 1947 and would see production until 1965
before it was replaced by the Gladiator. This '49 model may look
like your grandfather's old truck, but she has a surprise. The
weathered red patina look really works for this truck. Body is in
good shape. The wheels and fresher set of tires helps complete the
stance and really sets it off. Inside you'll find tan leather seats
that are sharp and in nice order. A BB gun is on display on the gun
rack behind the seat for all to see and can't help you think of
simpler times. The surprise lurks under the hood as this truck is
powered by a Tri-power 327ci V8! That's right, she is rocking 3x2
bbl carburetors. Power runs down through a 3-Speed Automatic
transmission. Current owner has had her for over 6 years, acquired
from a private owner and she is believed to be a 3-owner truck!
Title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name
now! This is one of the coolest trucks of this era we have ever had
in here. Don't wait for her to get away and give us a call today!
Options on this Willys includes: A/C, Power Brakes, Leather
Interior, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM/CD Radio, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires.
