Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to offer for sale a
wonderfully built Pro Touring 1967 Chevrolet Nova complete with a
full modern drivetrain and suspension, a sinister blacked-out look,
and more, WOW!This 1967 Chevy Nova would look great no matter what
you did with it, but even the original version can't compete with
the amazing street machine it has become. 600+ crank horsepower
from a modern LS3 V8, an overdrive transmission, and stunning icy
grey paint all work together to create one of the cleanest, meanest
pro-touring Novas we've ever seen. The minimalist shape of the Nova
can be traced to its origins as an economy car, but when everything
is done to show standards, it stands out as something special. The
sheet metal is so tight it appears stretched over this Nova's
chassis, and the single character line that stretches from nose to
tail seems to visually make the car seem longer and lower than it
really is. The brilliant Grey paint is simply spectacular, with a
miles-deep finish that only hours of tedious hand sanding can
achieve. The blacked-out grills and bumpers only serve to highlight
the car's most interesting features and it's all in great condition
that will stop people in their tracks at the next Goodguys event.
LEDs in the headlights and LED bulbs in the taillights look stock
until they light up, giving it a high-tech look that works well
with that blacked-out grille and paint-matched bumper that add a
custom vibe. The interior was upgraded to go along with the
Pro-Touring Theme. There are new Corbeau Suede bucket seats, the
suede headliner, carpets, and custom door panels are new, and the
B&M shifter sticks out of the custom transmission tunnel for an
industrial-strength look. Upgrades like the tilt steering column
with Budnik billet leather steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges,
and chrome knobs and handles give it a modern flair that's the
essence of the Pro-Touring movement. A Budnik steering wheel is the
right choice in a vintage muscle car like this, and a cleverly
engineered Vintage A/C system integrates neatly into the original
dashboard without significant modifications. A Modern CarPlay
Kenwood Double Din Touchscreen Radio adorns the center of the dash.
a 6 Point Rollbar with Doorbars helped stiffen the chassis and
provided peace of mind driving this car fast, The back seat is
still comfortable and fully functional, so grab some friends and go
cruising, and the trunk is finished out as well so that's worth
showing off when you get there.Big power in a little package was
the Nova SS calling card from day one, and with a stout LS3 engine
under the hood, this one carries some serious blasting powder. A
525HP Hot LS3 GM Connect and Cruise was purchased, then given the
Texas Speed Treatment, LSX 102R Intake and Throttle Body, Ported
Heads, a 635mm lift Camshaft, and long tube headers, Easily
producing 600 horsepower at the crank and still running
easy-driving fuel injection, this isn't just some lazy truck
engine, but a quick-revving, high-winding street assassin that
greatly complements this Nova's compact size and agile handling.
The gorgeous engine bay has been built to show off, with fabricated
inner fenders, a smoothed firewall, and plenty of blacked-out
dress-up, including the coil covers for an industrial look. The
chassis has been heavily massaged as well, including Ridetech
coil-over shocks, Wilwood disc brakes, and a TCI rack-and-pinion
power steering system with Tubular Double A-Arms and Swaybars. Rear
Suspension is also TCI with a Floating Moser 9" 3:89 Posi Rear end.
A fresh dual exhaust system sounds absolutely amazing, both at idle
and full song. The 4 Speed Automatic is up to the task, delivering
fast shifts and overdrive highway performance. The TCI suspension
has been lowered, so it hunkers down just right over those
beautiful Black Billet Specialties wheels which wear staggered
255/40/18 front and 315/30/18 rear performance Falken RT615K+ Ultra
High-Performance radials.Incredibly well-finished, insanely fast,
and still very easy to drive, early Novas don't get much nicer than
this pro-built hardtop. This 1967 Chevrolet Nova Pro Touring is
