Roadster show award winner. Over $600,000 build! 6,000 hours over a
2 year period, plus all the parts and pieces. Built by Arizona's
longest running Kustom shop: Squeeg's Kustoms.
The Grand National Roadster Show happens once a year. The
competition just to have a car invited is fierce. This car was
awarded America's Most Beautiful Roadster, outstanding detail
award, and outstanding class award. This isn't just a garage
ornament, it's a driver. The builder strived to ensure its
performance and handling matched it's looks. It has 1,488 miles
since finished.
EXTERIOR: It is an all steel body; it's arrow straight with
precision fit. The cowl area was shaved, the hood was lengthened,
the grill was narrowed. The front trailing arms protrude from the
body. In back it has a roll pan with exhaust ports. Creamy yellow
with candy apple red scallops outlined in twin black pinstripes.
The paint is smooth as glass. Sporty looking DuVall windshield.
1949 taillights with hand cast chrome bezels. "Trick" wheels are
15x5.5 in front, 16x10 in back. The custom-made hardtop is painted
to match. It also has a black cloth lift off soft top.
INTERIOR: Supple red leather upholstery. Mercedes square weave
carpet and matching mats. The controls and steering wheel were hand
fabricated. Very unique tilt wheel swivels on a ball joint. Custom
made gauges color matched to the car. Custom made floor shifter and
pedals.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 383 stroker motor delivers over 500 hp! It's an
aluminum engine that has been deburred and polished. On top is a
polished super charger and custom fuel injection system. The valve
covers and air cleaner housing are one of a kind machined from
billet aluminum. Every part is polished, many fabricated unique
parts. The modern electronics are discreetly hidden. Polished
radiator and hoses. Unique front opening hood with custom hinges
that have 2 positions to hold it open. The underside of the hood is
painted to match the top.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's boxed, upholstered, and carpeted. Custom
made hinges were drilled and chromed. The fuel filler is in the
trunk. It has a release lever inside.
UNDERSIDE: It is just as polished and has the same attention to
detail under the car as on top. Original 1932 Ford frame rails
still have the original vin # that matches the title. Fabricated
square tube frame supports. Upfront has a tube axle with Indy style
coil over shocks hidden behind the grill. In back it has a 4 link
triangulated system with polished bars. Disc brakes at all 4 wheels
with polished calipers. The rear end was smoothed, painted, and
polished. Custom fabricated ribbed cover. The floor is painted to
match the topside including the scallops.
Everybody is loving this car. It's sitting in a showroom full of
cars and it's the center of attention! It is ready for show and
go!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year
membership.
