Painted on stripes. All the exterior trim, chrome, emblems were replaced. It has the exterior trim group which includes wheel well moldings, rain gutter trim and chrome louvers on the 1/4s. Correct antenna and Z-28 bumper guards. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. Vinyl top was replaced. 15 inch rally wheels are wrapped in reproduction Wide Oval tires.

On top is a functional cowl induction. Everything looks clean and proper. The Z comes with power brakes, this one also has optional power steering.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are glossy. Inside is neatly spattered. New weatherstrip, decals and mat. Complete jack and spare assembly look new, it even has a matching reproduction tire.

UNDERSIDE: Every component was removed and restored. The entire suspension and steering were rebuilt. It has correct spiral shocks. The brake system was completely rebuilt. It has disc in front, e-brake assembly is hooked up. It has a correct exhaust system with a transverse muffler. Fuel system was replaced. Bottom of the motor is clean Chevy Orange, starter looks fresh. It has a correct M-20 Muncie 4-speed, it looks fresh. It has a correct 12 bolt with a performance 4.10 posi. The floors are rust free metal painted black. There are duplicated assembly line markings and tags. It has a few years on it but still looks great!

The legendary Z-28 was developed to compete in Trans Am racing which had a 305 cubic inch limit. They squeezed a lot of power out of this high revving 302. Every mechanical aspect of this car had performance in mind. Equally matched good looks. This is why these are so popular today. This is a great example.

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
