STK 3421 1997 Ford Mustang
The SVT Cobra package was a giant step up for any 1997 Mustang GT.
The SVT model received many performance upgrades in '97 including
the 4.6L DOHC aluminum engine. This 3-owner SVT Cobra has been
carefully maintained and is an excellent example of the SN-95
Fox-body classic. The original Crystal White Clearcoat finish is in
excellent condition and exterior accents include a rear spoiler and
18" SVE-NVX custom alloy wheels that mount serious Nitto Z-rated
performance radials. The factory 'Sport Seat' interior is
upholstered in Saddle leather and is also in excellent condition.
This sporty Hoss is well equipped including A/C, power driver seat,
dual front airbags, power tinted glass, tilt leather wheel, cruise,
power locks and keyless entry. It is also optioned with the 250A
Equipment Package that adds a Mach 460 AM/FM/CD stereo and passive
Anti-Theft system. A Classic Designs Concepts padded 'light bar'
has been added behind the front seats - very nice installation.

Mustang SVT Cobra power is provided by aluminum 4.6-liter, DOHC
32-valve V-8 that outputs 305bhp/305 lb/ft. This engine was a
totally new Ford design and the ones used in the SVT Cobras were
hand-built. This powerplant is stock with the exception of a
K&N air intake system and is backed by a 5-speed T-45 manual
transmission. Torque is delivered to a Ford Traction-Lok
differential with optional 3.27:1 performance gearing and exhaust
is routed through a stainless steel exhaust system. The spotless
SVT Fox performance platform is fitted with power steering, ABS
power 4-wheel disc brakes (13"/11.6" rotors), shock tower brace,
29/27mm sway bars, variable rate springs and MacPherson struts/gas
shocks. This all-original Mustang SVT Cobra will not be here long -
