Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1947
Lincoln Base Convertible. It is believed that only 384 base Lincoln
convertibles were made in 1947. The 1947 Lincoln was considered one
of the most beautiful cars of the era. The base Lincoln unlike the
Continental series was built to reach a wider audience at a more
affordable price. This 1947 Lincoln Base convertible is painted in
period green with a beige cloth power convertible top. Wide white
wall tires, dual spotlights, push button door handles, and
oversized rear fender skirts add to the nostalgic looks. The
interior is appointed in elegant brown leather, power windows and
an original AM radio. Under the hood is a V-12 engine attached to a
three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Aftermarket
headers, dual exhaust and cherry bomb mufflers give this 1947
Lincoln Base Convertible a very nice sounding rumble.
