Two-door Standard Coupe. This black beauty is an all -steel
example. Retaining its original 91A flathead engine with major
improvements. The list includes three super 97 carbs, Offenhauser
Manifold, Offenhauser Heads 24 bolt, Fenton Headers, Cool Craft
High Performance Radiator with two electric fans and shroud and an
electric fuel pump. The Fords electrical system has been converted
to a GM 12-volt generator with a 12-volt mini starter. The
transmission is a five-speed S10 stick shift with a cable X unit
attached to the original speedometer. A 1974 Ford rear axle with a
2.79 gear ratio with sway-bar leaf springs complete the rear end.
Braking consists of Chevrolet front disk brakes and Ford rear
drums. Added features include a drop front axle with a Panhard bar
and a Ford poly fuel tank. This 1939 Ford Two-Door Standard coupe
is painted in tuxedo black with custom pinstriping. Coker wide
white wall tires with reverse chrome rims, a louvered hood and
Frenched taillights add to the beauty of this build. The gray
tufted velour seats and fully carpeted interior is totally
inviting. In addition to the working factory gauges are an
aftermarket oil gauge and tachometer. A GM steering column,
AM/FM/cd radio, car cover and front fender bra are great added
features to one beautiful build.
