Gateway Classic Cars of Charlotte is proud to digitally present
this 1994 BMW R100R Mystic. The BMW R100R Mystic was only available
in the US in 1994 and 1995. You had your choice of any color, as
long as it was "Mystic Metallic Red." Less than 300 R100R Mystics
made it to this pond side, causing them to sell out in short
order. These bikes enjoyed the last chassis upgrades BMW implemented
on their air-cooled 1,000cc two-cylinder motorcycles. Some
enhancements are alloy wire-spoke wheels and tubeless tires, an oil
cooler, and BREMBO dual disc brakes in front.Style upgrades are
what really sets the Mystic apart. A lower seat changes the rider's
center of gravity, while lowered handlebars improve control. Other
cosmetic changes were made to complete the package. Now that we
know how few of these unique motorcycles made it to the U.S. let's
talk about this one in particular. This bike is barely broken in
less than 800 miles on it. Looking as "young" as ever, this bike
has hard bags that look like they just came out of a box with the
rest of the cycle. If you appreciate classic German motorcycles, do
yourself a favor and make this one yours today.
