Vehicle Description
Cruisin Classics is proud to present for your consideration this
1964 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible. This Falcon is an affordable
driver-quality classic that is just perfect for a top-down sunny
day cruise around town. Dressed in a respray of its original
Wimbledon White and capped off with a black convertible top, this
Ford really catches the eye. Running the length of both flanks of
the car are chrome spears that provide a sporty look. The egg crate
grill with floating headlights makes for a great appearance up
front. The rear of the car features turbine-style tail lamps that
are a hallmark of the era. The power convertible top goes up and
down with ease and is in good condition with the exception of a
hole in the plastic rear window on the driver's side. This Ford
sits atop steel wheels with chrome wire hubcaps with faux spinners
wrapped in Hiffley HF201 tires. Under the hood lies a 170ci Inline
6-cylinder engine with a single barrel carburetor paired with a
3-speed manual transmission. The valve cover and air cleaner are
both painted blue and the engine bay is stock in appearance. There
is a dual reservoir for the manual drum brakes and the steering is
manual as well. Under the car is a newer exhaust that exits through
a flared chrome Ford exhaust tip at the rear. Inside this Falcon is
a nice two-tone blue interior with silver piping separating the
shades of blue on the comfortable bench seats. The blue-painted
areas on the doors and dash have a light patina that speaks to
years of enjoyment. The door cards are in good condition as is the
blue carpet. Shifting is manual and on the column (3-on-the-tree).
There is an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette stereo to provide your
favorite cruisin tunes. There is a blue boot cover for the
convertible top that matches the interior and provides a great
look. Around back in the trunk is a spare tire, 2 extra hubcaps,
and a non-original jack. This 64 Falcon drop-top is certain to
bring a smile to your face as you cruise around enjoying some
old-school cool!
