Vehicle Description
A classic sedan delivery is usually a really cool surf wagon today.
But when you can get one in a 1957 Chevrolet - one of the most
distinct and sought-after designs - it's ready to be an
attention-grabber. And with legendary dual-quad big block power, a
five-speed transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and an extra comfy
A/C interior, there were big investments here to take this iconic
sheet metal and make it an all-around terrific classic.
This cool Chevy commands your attention from the moment it comes
into view. But it's not necessarily the custom pieces that are the
first thing you find striking. The delivery vehicle was all about
being a simple worker machine, but the 1957 Chevy had so many
details that even industrial duty looked glamorous. You had the
legendary front end that's now made even more impressive with the
bumper now framing a shining billet grille. And since they kept the
classic tailfins even on the delivery vehicle, they made sure there
was plenty of chrome to sharply outline them. Of course, this is
quite a powerful custom. It announces that feeling immediately when
you see the multi-tone flames consuming the front end. The polished
17-inch Torq Thrust wheels, side exhaust cutouts, and deeply tinted
rear glass also instantly define this as a power car. And we
especially love the 409 Delivery graphics on the side that are the
coolest motor callout we've seen in a while. But not all the custom
pieces are quite so apparent. There are also subtle additions that
are great to discover, like the hint of pearlescent in the bright
white paint.
The interior is about the right classic style and plenty of
worthwhile additions. For example, you still have the classic dash
with nice brightwork, but now the steering wheel is an upgraded
sports unit on a tilt column. You've also got more driver-oriented
pieces like the under-dash auxiliary readouts, a column-mounted
tach, and a Hurst shifter. But this custom was also built to be a
comfortable cruiser. So you have high-back bucket seats up front,
and there's even room for more people in the added rear bench.
Everyone stays happy with features like a Kenwood AM/FM/cassette
stereo, a cup holder center console, and cold-blowing air
conditioning. The rear cargo hatch swings up and out of the way to
swallow the big items, and all that extra space in the finished
cargo area is ideal for everything from tailgating to featuring a
product from your business.
When you open the hood, you can't help but sing a tune. Oh
yeah...she's real fine, my 409. This is an awesome-looking big
block heart that was the king of the streets back in the day, and
it has the right shining hardware to continue to reign supreme. In
fact, you have dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors sitting atop
an Edelbrock intake. The whole package was built to run correctly,
and that's why you have good supporting components like an MSD
ignition and a BeCool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
The dual exhaust has a nice tune, and any time you want to really
bring the thunder, all you have to do is open up the side cut-outs.
Plus, you get full control over the big block pow and its terrific
rumble thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. Add in power
steering, a rear sway bar, newer 2021 tires, and a four-wheel power
disc brake upgrade, and this makes for a fine cruiser to show off
those big tailfins everywhere.
Complete with maintenance records, this is the icon with the more
distinct body and upgraded with big block power. It's the ultimate
sedan delivery, and it can be yours if you call today!!!
