Vehicle Description
1965 Chevrolet El Camino
What Makes This Car Special
Chevrolet El Camino is a coupe utility vehicle that was produced by
Chevrolet between 1959-1960 and 1964-1987. Unlike a pickup truck,
the El Camino was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform
that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body.
A lot of collectors think the restored 1965 El Camino, like the one
we have here at Skyway Classics, is the most desirable body style
of all.
Ours features a 283 cubic inch engine, automatic transmission,
great white paint job, and Rally wheels with knock-off style center
caps.

Mechanical
The Camino we have has a 283 cubic inch DE code small block
Chevrolet engine backed by an automatic transmission. That engine
has the block and heads painted in orange and has a horsepower
increases from what was stock with the Edelbrock aluminum intake
and 4-barrel carb, factory cast iron exhaust manifolds, dual
exhaust system, chrome valve covers, as well as the chrome open air
cleaner, aluminum aftermarket radiator, and chrome alternator.
It looks and rides good with the Rally wheels with knock-off style
center caps and black sidewall performance tires and handles and
stops great too.
Interior
The restored beige bench seat and matching rear seat looks great as
does the rest of the interior including the matching door panels,
tan carpet, headliner and trim.
It has an aftermarket Kenwood AM/FM/CD radio, factory steering
wheel and the full Camino dash and gauge package, and black El
Camino floor mats too.
Exterior
The 1965 has been repainted in a cool white paint job on the body
with factory correct badging, steel cowl induction hood, chrome
bumpers front and rear, nice lines and straight body panels, and
nice glass and trim.
A trunk mat is a plus too and the fold-down tailgate makes access
easy to the bed.
Conclusion
The very nice restored 1965 Chevrolet El Camino we have at Skyway
Classics is very well done and will make the new owner a great
cruiser to add to the collection.
It is a very strong runner and looks and sounds great too. Come see
it today.
