1966 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE A-CODE, 4-SPEED TRANS., A/C, ORIG.
DOCS This is one very sharp looking Mustang in its factory color,
Raven Black. The body is clean and straight down both sides. The
paint is smooth and has a very glossy finish. All of the chrome and
stainless trim have been polished or replaced with new. It has
newer weather stripping and window seals. The glass is in good
shape. Everything looks great! The white manual convertible top is
like new. There are two boots, one red and one white. This pony
sits on a set of BFG T/A radials with chrome GT style wheels. The
red pony interior is exceptionally nice. The color really "pops"
with the black exterior. The carpet, upholstery and door panels are
in great shape. The dash area is very clean. The dash bezels and
knobs are in excellent condition. The factory 4-speed center
console is in great shape. It has front and rear seatbelts. It is
very impressive how nice everything is, it is like sitting in a new
car. The engine compartment is highly detailed with its original
289 ci/225 hp performance V-8 engine, also known as an A-code. It
has a 4-barrel intake and carburetor, correct manifolds, valve
covers and air cleaner. It also features power steering, A/C and
even the windshield washer fluid bag and squirters are hooked up.
Overall it is proper and tidy. The trunk compartment is spotless,
all clean metal. It has been slightly customized with vinyl panels,
carpet and a Bluetooth radio. These can be easily removed for that
original look. The undercarriage is very clean, painted and has a
nice satin black finish. The front end components look good. The
bottom of the motor is clean as well as the 4-speed transmission.
It has a newer dual exhaust system and fuel tank. The E-brake
assembly is complete and working. This car is a lot of fun to drive
and is also a real attention getter!!
