Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1968
Dodge Coronet R/T. The Coronet was completely restyled in 1968 with
many trim levels including Deluxe, 440 series, 550 series and R/T
models. The R/T model was Dodges answer to the muscle car craze
with a 440 cubic-inch Magnum V-8 engine with a four-barrel
carburetor pumping out over 335hp. Muscle car features on the R/T
included dual exhaust, Rallye suspension, heavy duty brakes, and a
choice of either a manual or automatic transmission.This 1968 Dodge
Coronet R/T is painted in bright red with R/T badging, black Bumble
Bee rear stripes, and dual sport mirrors. Factory chrome rally
wheels are mounted on a set of BF Goodrich raised white letter
tires. The black vinyl interior sports bucket seats, three-spoke
sport steering wheel, center console, additional water and oil
gauges, and an AM/FM/cassette radio. Under the hood of this beauty
is a 440 cubic-inch Magnum V-8 attached to a TorqueFlite
three-speed automatic transmission.
