Mercury Cougar. Positioned as the 'personal luxury' big brother to
the Mustang, the Cougar was a performance and style setter of it's
own. With more mature styling, consisting of a full width grill and
hideaway headlights, taunt body lines and a standard formal roof,
the Cougar appealed to a more sophisticated buyer with deeper
pockets verses the Mustang. This Silver Jade 67 Cougar has been
taken to the next level with a 5.0l V8 bored .60 over (306ci) with
GT40 heads, aftermarket intake, BBK fuel injection, serpentine belt
and updated AC with an electric cooling fan. The combo allows for a
reliable starting classic with plenty of power! The suspension was
updated with TCI coil overs, tubular upper and lower arms, welded
in sub-frame connectors with updated front disk brakes with rack
and pinion steering. With these mods, this Cougar can handle the
added power and turns and stops better than new. The 3.55 final
gear makes this Cougar quick off the line, and the 17" Crager
wheels turns all the heads. The interior is finished in black vinyl
with buckets and has no rips or tears and is contrasted with a
period correct, wood rimmed steering wheel. A clean 67 cougar is
hard to find. A hot custom 67 Cougar with fuel injection, ice cold
AC, and a cool stance is a rarity! It wont last long. Hurry and add
