Vehicle Description
What we've got here is a driver with some style. On the showroom
floor now is this stately 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass, with older green
paint and an extremely clean interior. The 1969 Cutlass was one of
America's best selling cars, being available in several different
body styles. In 1968, the Cutlass received an extensive restyle
featuring all-new sheet metal and a semi-fastback roofline. The
1969 F-85/Cutlass models received only minor trim changes from
their '68 counterparts, namely a signature split grille with
vertical bars and vertical taillights. Headrests became standard
equipment and the ignition switch moved from the instrument panel
to the steering column. This example is powered by a standard 350
C.I. V8 breathing through a 2-barrel carburetor, perfect for
cruising. Torque from that 350 is delivered to the rear end through
a 3-speed automatic transmission shifted on the column, good for
seamless and smooth shifting. The exterior green paint with white
pinstriping is older but is sure to turn heads up and down the
block. The interior looks equally fantastic, being mostly-original
and also extremely clean. The white vinyl bench seats compliment
the exterior white pinstriping nicely! Options on this beautiful
'69 Olds include power steering, air conditioning, a factory AM
pushbutton radio, a heater + defroster, seatbelts, and a
nice-sounding single exhaust system. The car rides on some chrome
Oldsmobile factory-style wheels paired to a classic set of B.F.
Goodrich RWL tires for a period-correct look. The Cutlass was a
staple of American highways for decades, and this 1969 model
harkens back to a time where you couldn't miss one looking up and
down the street. With a big 350 C.I. V8 and a column-shifted
automatic, this Cutlass runs and drives even better than it looks.
Behind the wheel, it's easy to see why the 1969 Cutlass was one of
America's best selling cars. If you'd like to step inside a real
time capsule of a car, then we think we've got what you're looking
for right here.
