This is a real Super Bee with a correct 383 and vin # match
4-speed! Very desirable factory B5 blue hardtop. It looks hot and
sounds even hotter!
EXTERIOR: Oh boy is this thing amazing! It didn't look this good
back in 1969. The body is laser beam straight. No rust or damage,
the panels all fit square and flush. Repainted its original B5
blue, the metal flake is laid out evenly. The clear coat is
polished like a mirror. It has the cool bumble bee stripe around
the tail end. Upfront the grill and bumper look pristine. It has
the correct antenna. The chrome trim on the hood scoop, the door
handles, wheel well moldings, emblems were replaced. In back the
tail panel is excellent, the bumper looks new. The vinyl top is
excellent. The stainless trim is very good, the glass is very good
original. The weather strips have been replaced. Door jambs are
painted slick. Great looking tires and wheels. 15x7 chrome Magnum
wheels in front, 15x8s in back. Tires look new, also beefier in
back.
INTERIOR: I'm sitting in this car, and it is in great shape. Nice
bright blue carpet, matching floor mats and a complete set of
original blue seat belts down on the floor. The upholstery and
headrests are in excellent shape. The door panels, armrests,
handles, and cranks look new. The metal trim is painted nicely. In
front of me is a great looking dash. New dash pad, instrument panel
is not cut or broken. It has the rally gauges with a tachometer and
a working clock. Steering wheel is in excellent shape. The
headliner is tight as a drum, excellent mirror, visors and a
working dome light. The best part though is that Hurst 4-speed
sticking out of the hump on the floor.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality motor compartment! Complete engine
rebuild with an invoice. The correct 1969 383 block was bored,
balanced, blasted, and baked. All new bearings, pistons, Lunati cam
and double roller timing chain. Rebuilt heads. On top is an
Edelbrock intake, dual feed Holley carb with electric choke and
premium fuel lines. New distributor, FlameThrower coil and Mopar
dated plug wires. I'm sure it's putting out more than the original
335 hp. Resurfaced flywheel. It's a very tidy, complete, and proper
engine compartment. All the components are clean. It has a Mopar
radiator, reproduction hoses and clamps. Reproduction battery is
bolted down properly. The horns are hooked up, the washers are
connected, it has hood insulation. The engine bay is clean metal
painted gloss blue. The Vin number stamped on the core support
matches the car. The original fender tag is attached.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Finished off beautifully and it is complete.
Under the trunk lid and the jamb are gloss blue. The trunk
compartment is all solid metal also painted blue and clear coated.
It has a painted rim with a new tire for a spare and a complete
jack assembly. The trunk mat, weatherstrip and decal were
replaced.
UNDERSIDE: Under the car appears to be very solid and well
maintained. The front end components look good, sway bar bushings
are fresh. It has upgraded KYB gas shocks all around. In back it
has new springs and bushings. Brake system has been serviced. Hoses
and lines are new, e-brake is hooked up. Great sounding Flowmaster
exhaust system with the correct tips. Fuel tank, straps and sending
unit have been replaced. Looking up at the motor it still looks
brand new. It has the correct casting codes and date on the side of
the block. It also has the Vin number matching 833 4-speed trans.
In back is the correct 1969 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears The
floors and frame rails all appear to be rock solid.
This car passed our inspection with flying colors! The mechanic
said it's a great car. Nothing to do but put gas in it and go shift
some gears!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
